Olympia Tokyo 2021: The field of participants in the women's tournament

The qualification for the Olympics worked on the world rankings. The 15 best in the world rankings were qualified, with a maximum of four female golfers per nation. The remaining places in the 60-person field were given to the best-placed athletes whose nation has not yet provided two golfers. Japan also had a starting place as the host nation.
