<p>THE PLAYERS Championship 2026 takes place from March 12–15 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, at the TPC Sawgrass Stadium Course. The par-72 layout is considered one of the season’s most exacting tests, notorious above all for the island green at the 17th, where tournaments can swing every year. The event once again features a $25 million purse, with the winner earning $4.5 million and 750 FedExCup points. Rory McIlroy returns as the defending champion after winning in a playoff in 2025.</p>
