One of the world's toughest courses: the venue for the Players Championship is the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Pete Dye designed the course to be a true challenge. The versatility of the course prevents any player or type of game from having an advantage. As a Stadium Course, the focus is especially on the spectator experience. One of the most famous and difficult holes is the 17th, whose green is located on an island.
