Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR)

The Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) is the official ranking system in professional men's golf. It calculates the world ranking based on results from the last two years, with more recent tournaments weighted more heavily. Points are awarded based on the strength of the tournament field and the finishing position. The OWGR is crucial for qualification to Major Championships and other prestigious events.
