Notable players to miss the Players Championship 2022

The Players Championship in Florida is coming up. However, some prominent golfers are missing at Ponte Vedra Beach.

When Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay & Co. tee off at TPC Swagrass from Thursday, some of golf's greatest players will not be in the mix. The "fifth major" takes place March 10-13 in Florida and is the highest-paying event on the PGA Tour thanks to prize money totaling $20 million. However, golf fans will have to do without these players.
