The numerous fans at the Celtic Manor Resort in Wales would certainly have wished for a little more excitement on the final day. In the end, however, the final day developed into a clear affair, at the end of which an Englishman had the upper hand. Callum Shinkwin had to struggle with the course and his own nerves on Sunday. The relief was all the greater that the competition made no attempt to seriously attack the leader on the final Sunday.
