The ladies of the LPGA Tour are playing their first major of the year. Who to watch out for at The Chevron Championship?

The first women's major of the year takes place at Mission Hills Country Club in California. Since this year, the tournament is called The Chevron Championship (formerly ANA Inspiration) and, thanks to the new sponsor, can look forward to a significant increase in prize money, but will therefore be moved to a new course in Texas next year. A total of five million US dollars will be paid out to the players on the LPGA Tour. In recent years, there have been many new major winners, which is why it is difficult to predict who will lift the first important trophy of the year. But who are the favourites at the 50th anniversary of the tournament? We take a look at some of the players to watch out for. Nelly Korda, world No. 2, has to miss out because of a blood clot in her arm.
