US Masters 2022: Hideki Matsuyama serves a menu of Japanese cuisine
Tuesdays before the Masters: Sushi, Wagyu beef steak and traditional Japanese cake were on the menu at the Champions Dinner.
One of the highlights leading up to the tournament days of the US Masters is the Champions Dinner. All former champions of the Masters Tournament are invited. The reigning winner determines the menu, which is prepared by first-class chefs at Augusta National Golf Club. Last year, Hideki Matsuyama was the first Japanese to win the tradition-steeped tournament, and of course he did not miss the opportunity to present Japanese cuisine at this year's Champions Dinner.
