1. Anna Nordqvist won her maiden LPGA Tour title on her fifth appearance. And this was not an ordinary title. In June 2009 Nordqvist made her breakthrough after winning the LPGA Championship.

2. At the 2013 Solheim Cup Anna Nordqvist made the first hole-in-one in tournament's history. That happened in the Saturday morning Foursomes session where Nordqvist was partnering with Caroline Hedwal. The ace was made on the 17th hole and it led the European duo to a 2&1 win over Morgan Pressel and Jessica Kord.
3. When Anna Nordqvist was 10 years old, she tried golf for the first time and she didn't like it. Anna took swimming instead till 2013 when she returned to golf and eventually became of the best Swedish golfers of all time
4. Anna's husband Kevin McAlpine used to caddie for Lexi
Thompson and Amy Yang. He also caddied for Martin Laird on the PGA Tour.
5. When Anna is not on the golf course, she loves to spend time for her hobbies. Graphic design, photography and cooking are only some of them. Anna is big fan of sports as well.
