14th Hole at Hallamshire GC Nears Key Construction Milestone

The 14th green at Hallamshire GC is taking shape with contours set and drainage prep underway.

At Hallamshire Golf Club, the transformation of the 14th hole continues to progress steadily. The green complex is now clearly defined, with the basic contours of the putting surface in place. The next steps include the installation of the drainage network, followed by the root zone build-up and eventual turfing.

Design firm Clayton, DeVries & Pont was on site to oversee the developments and begin marking out the future bunker locations. These markings will guide the shaping team as they move on to the next phase of construction. The site is evolving rapidly, and it’s exciting to witness a golf hole emerging from what was recently a construction zone.
