Team Kuchar wins 2025 PNC Championship, Langer duo finishes T7

Bernhard Langer and his son Jason played well at the PNC Championship but missed the podium as defending champions.

The 2025 PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded with Team Kuchar taking the title. The family-team event, played in a scramble format over two rounds, marked the season finale of the PGA Champions Tour. Among the field were Bernhard Langer and his son Jason, who finished tied for seventh, and fan favorite John Daly with his son John II, who tied for second.

Team Kuchar dominates PNC Championship

Matt Kuchar, a 2016 Ryder Cup winner and multiple Presidents Cup champion, teamed up with his son Cameron to deliver a dominant performance. On Saturday, they carded a flawless round with 15 birdies. They followed up on Sunday with 14 birdies and two eagles, finishing at 33-under-par to secure a clear victory.

Trailing behind were Team Daly and Team Love, both finishing at 26-under-par. John Daly and his son John II impressed with back-to-back rounds of 59, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Champion, and his son Dru opened with a 60 and followed up with a bogey-free round featuring 14 birdies.

Nelly Korda shines in family format

LPGA star and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda was the only active female pro in the field. She teamed up with her father Petr, and together they posted rounds of 60 and 59 to finish tied for fourth with Team Stricker.
