The 2025 PNC Championship, held at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida, concluded with Team Kuchar taking the title ahead of Team Love and Team Daly. The family-team event, played in a scramble format over two rounds, marked the season finale of the PGA Champions Tour. Among the notable participants were Bernhard Langer and his son Jason (T7), as well as fan favorite John Daly and his son John II (T2).

Team Kuchar wins PNC Championship

Matt Kuchar, a 2016 Ryder Cup winner and multiple Presidents Cup champion, teamed up with his son Cameron to deliver a dominant performance. On Saturday, they posted a flawless round with 15 birdies, finishing 15-under par. They followed up with 14 birdies and two eagles on Sunday, ending the tournament at an impressive 33-under par to secure the win.

Trailing them were Team Daly and Team Love, both finishing at 26-under par. John Daly and his son John II impressed with rounds of 59 on both days, each featuring nine birdies and two eagles. Davis Love III, the 1997 PGA Champion, and his son Dru opened with a 60 (-12) and added 14 birdies on Sunday to tie for second.

Nelly Korda shines in family event

Steven Stricker, former Ryder Cup captain, played alongside his daughter Izzi, finishing tied for fourth at 25-under par. They shared the spot with Team Korda, featuring LPGA star and Olympic gold medalist Nelly Korda and her father Petr. The Kordas opened with a 60 and improved to a 59 on Sunday, showcasing Nelly’s elite skills in the unique family format.

Bernhard Langer finishes T7

Defending champions Bernhard and Jason Langer couldn’t repeat their previous success. Despite their strong play, they finished tied for seventh at 23-under par, just short of the podium.
