Team Scottie Scheffler narrowly defeated Team Rory McIlroy in a playoff at the Golf Channel Games in Florida.

It came down to just a few inches: At the Golf Channel Games held at Trump National Golf Club in Florida, Team Scottie Scheffler edged out Team Rory McIlroy in a thrilling playoff. The entertainment-focused event combined competitive golf with show elements, featuring five unique challenges, a star-studded lineup, and a finale straight out of a movie script.

Star-studded teams and unique format at the Golf Channel Games

Led by World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Team Scheffler included Sam Burns, Keegan Bradley, and Luke Clanton. Team McIlroy, captained by Rory McIlroy, featured Haotong Li, Shane Lowry, and Luke Donald. Unlike traditional tournaments, the event consisted of five creative challenges testing various aspects of the game. While entertainment was the focus, the level of play remained high.

Early lead for Team Scheffler

Team Scheffler took an early 2–0 lead, winning the timed long drive and short game challenges. Team McIlroy bounced back in the third challenge, which involved completing a hole as quickly as possible with players positioned throughout the hole.
