The PGA Tour kicks off this week at the Genesis Invitational in Pacific Palisades, California, hosted by Tiger Woods at the Riviera Country Club. While only Matti Schmid from the German-speaking region will showcase his skills, the tournament features a star-studded field competing for crucial points in the World Rankings. The total prize fund is $20,000,000. Alongside defending champion Ludvig Åberg, World No.1 Scottie Scheffler will compete. Other top players include Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Collin Morikawa, Russell Henley, J.J. Spaun, among others, completing an elite roster. MagentaTV broadcasts all four tournament days live.
The DP World Tour heads to Kenya for the Magical Kenya Open in Nairobi. Several German-speaking players are on the entry list, including the notably successful Freddy Schott from Düsseldorf, accompanied by Marcel Siem, Marcel Schneider, Joel Girrbach, Bernd Wiesberger, and Maximilian Steinlechner, although the field is traditionally dominated by Kenyan players. MagentaTV also broadcasts all four days live.
The LPGA Tour travels to Pattaya, Thailand for the Honda LPGA Thailand. Esther Henseleit from the German-speaking region will participate this week. Sky Sports Golf provides live coverage of this tournament.
