Leeds Golf Centre: Greenkeeping Updates for Improved Course Drainage

Latest improvements at Leeds Golf Centre include enhancements to the 3rd hole and drier paths between the 6th and 7th holes.

Course Improvements

3rd Hole – Work has started on improving drainage to the left of the 3rd hole. The existing ditch is being extended, shaped, and turfed, becoming a red hazard. This adds character without significantly increasing difficulty, while also allowing for future drainage improvements.

Path Drainage Solutions

Path between 6th & 7th – A new drainage channel has been installed to tackle long-standing wet ground, making the woodland path to the 7th tee much drier. Further drainage and surface improvements will follow in the coming weeks.
