Four wins, a career Grand Slam, and Ryder Cup glory: Rory McIlroy’s 2025 season was one for the history books.

Four tournament victories, a long-awaited Masters triumph, and a historic Ryder Cup win on American soil: 2025 turned out to be one of the most significant years in Rory McIlroy’s illustrious career. Here’s a look back at a season of extraordinary achievements.

Strong Start to a Stellar Season

McIlroy kicked off 2025 with a bang, claiming his first win of the year at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February—his 27th career title. He followed up with solid performances in California and Florida, finishing in the top 20 in both events.

His momentum continued at The Players Championship, where he held his nerve in a playoff against American J.J. Spaun to secure his second career win at the prestigious event.

Throughout the regular season, McIlroy maintained top form. He finished second in the FedEx Cup standings behind Scottie Scheffler and secured his fourth consecutive—and seventh overall—Race to Dubai title.

Ryder Cup Triumph on U.S. Soil

In September, McIlroy made his eighth consecutive Ryder Cup appearance for Team Europe. The 2025 edition took place at Bethpage Black in New York, where the European team faced intense hostility from the American
