The Shire London Embraces Hugh’s Law for Employee Support

The Bridgedown Golf Group, including The Shire London, adopts Hugh’s Law to support employees with paid leave.

Today, the Bridgedown Golf Group has formally adopted the principles of Hugh’s Law.

Supporting Employees in Times of Need

Across The Bridgedown Golf Group including @theshirelondon, employees will be supported to leave work and be by the bedside if their child becomes critically ill, with job protection and financial security.

Fair Leave Policy for Parents

The policy proposes up to 12 weeks’ paid leave at the statutory rate taken in structured blocks and supported by medical confirmation which is defined and clinically led.

This announcement follows @brentfordfc becoming the first @premierleague club to adopt the principles. No parent should ever have to choose between their child and their job. Parents deserve better.
