Bernie joined the Greenkeeping team here at Bush Hill Park as First Assistant in 2023, and a week ago he stepped into his new role of Deputy Course Manager ?
“I became a greenkeeper at Theydon Bois Golf Club in June 2020 after losing my events industry job during COVID, and have never looked back. I worked at T Golf Palma for six months before starting at Bush Hill Park in March last year. I’m striving to progress my skills and career as quickly as possible and I’m looking forward to the new opportunity to assist Leigh as Deputy Course Manager.
I’ve also been a keen golfer since I was a teenager and still love to get out as often as possible after work and on the weekends.”
