⛳️Claret Jug Better Ball Pairs Competition – Saturday 20th July⛳️
Our Club Pro Stuart put on a fun Pairs competition on Saturday just to keep the competitive edge going for the players as the course recovers from maintenance week.
There was nearest the pin competitions and Longest drive at 14 and a number of greens with obstacles placed to just add a bit if trickery to holing out for the groups. The teams betterball score was added to their player from the Opens score from Saturday. Their professional was picked by spinning the wheel if Fortune/Misfortune.
There was also the compulsory first tee drive with a small headed persimmon wood to get competitors underway.
40 teams participated on Saturday morning and as always it was a close finish at the business end.
