As many of you may know, we are thrilled to be celebrating our Centenary year here at the Club. It’s hard to believe that a century has passed since our very first competition took place.
📣 On this very day, 1st June 1924, Captain John Spelman and Honorary Secretary Dan Sexton organized that historic event. The draw sheet for the inaugural tournament was discovered in Lally’s Royal Hotel, revealing the names of approximately 30 members who teed off on the same greens.
