Sidmouth Golf Club Shines at 'Sea Side Special' Lady Captain's Day

Heather Cowan SIDMOUTH Golf Club Lady Captain hosted her ‘Sea side special ‘ Lady Captains Day on Saturday 29th June.
The weather was glorious, the golf course immaculate with treats of Cream Teas, supplied by Someday Something of SIDMOUTH, washed down with Pimms and Prosecco half way round the course.
When everyone returned to the Clubhouse Jake and Lauren the club caterer’s served everyone with Fish and Chips in keeping with the seaside theme.
Along with the food and drinks, the golf was good too!
The winning team on countback was Gerri Whitrow, Penny Anderson and Sandra Gibbs with 82 points
Second place, Sheila Faulkner, Ros Eaton and Debbie Snelgrove with 82 points
And in third, Liz Chance, Anne Blackler and Louise Talbot with 77 points
Nearest the pin on the 4th, Anne Blackler Nearest the pin on the 12th, Sheila Faulkner Nearest the bucket, Sandra Gibbs Nearest the pin on the 18th, Maria Clapp
It was a truly lovely day and Vanessa Ireson, vice Captain thanked Heather on behalf of the ladies with a bouquet of flowers.
