Unusual Sight at Leaside Golf Club: Damselflies Take Center Stage

What an unusual pairing! Its a common sight in the summer to see damselflies in 'tandem' with the males using their specialised claspers with the female normally bending her abdomen forward to mate. This Azure male has got a bit confused and grasped a much larger female Banded Demoiselle. She is likely able to feel the difference and now she'll have to wait patiently for him to give up ?
