One of our members - Joseph Sephton - played in Final Qualifying for The Open yesterday at @westlancsgc with the support of club professional Jamie Guy on the bag.
A great performance with a few bad breaks on a very tough course, meant he just came up short of a spot at Royal Troon this month.
One of the great things about The Open is that it gives great club golfers a chance to compete against some of the world's best like Sam Horsfield and Sergio Garcia.
Well done @joeysepho - everyone at the club is extremely proud of you!
