West Waterford Golf & Country Club to Celebrate President’s Prize Weekend

This weekend, our Club President, Jim Moroney, presents his President’s prize to both Men and Ladies. The Men’s qualifier is on Friday & Saturday, with the top 40 qualifying for Sunday’s final round. The Ladies prize is on Sunday.
This is Jim’s second year as our Club President, and it’s fair to say there hasn’t been a harder working or more committed club member over the last two years. Jim can be always found around the club and is the person who turns out the lights every evening. He goes about his work in his own quiet and efficient way, and always has a hand to help and an ear to listen.
Jim has been a great support to our two club captains (Niall & Bridget) this year, and his counsel is always greatly appreciated.
So, this weekend, we are delighted to celebrate Jim’s contribution to our club and to thank him for his huge commitment. We look forward to a great turnout for both the Men’s and Ladies competition. We wish Jim a very enjoyable weekend.
The presentation for the President’s prizes will take place at 7:30pm on Sunday night in the clubhouse. All are welcome.
