The 18-hole course of the Artland Golf Club is nestled in the vastness of the beautiful cultural landscape of the south of Ankum. Surrounded by old trees, gentle hills with streams, ponds and biotopes, golfing in Ankum-Westerholte is a sporting event of special quality. The mixture of easy and difficult, short and long, wide and narrow courses, with numerous sand and water hazards, offers all golfers new opportunities and challenges time and time again. In addition to the sporting aspect, golfers enjoy the absolute tranquillity of our golf course and golf instructor Falko Venth offers modern courses, age-appropriate youth training, individual private lessons and team training. The offer is also aimed at new golfers with taster courses and courses for those who are ready to play. Everyone can feel at home here: In our new restaurant "Giersfeld 23", golfers and day-trippers can enjoy a pleasant end to a sporting day or take a break. We are happy to host your wedding, family celebration or event. Our restaurant is also geared towards seminars and conferences, and in spring 2015 a 5500-year-old megalithic tomb was uncovered. On May 5, 2015, Megalithic Culture Day, it was opened to the public. The megalithic tomb is a cultural gem that blends wonderfully into the landscape of the site.
