Description
One of the most beautiful golf courses in Schleswig-Holstein is nestled in the park of the Gut Altenhof manor house with its old trees and a hilly landscape of fields, pastures and forests. This oasis of peace is only 1 km from the Baltic Sea. This 18-hole championship course has a pro store, driving range, chipping and pitching green as well as a putting green. Even good golfers, beyond the borders of Schleswig-Holstein, are faced with the highest demands on this course. After your round, the "1971" will spoil you with excellent cuisine.

Briefly describe your „Signature Hole“!
Hole 11! From the elevated tee with an impressive view to the dogleg, this PAR 5 is accompanied by water on the left and right. If you place your second shot safely in the dogleg, you can make a good approach to the green, which is carefully built into the forest, whereby two bunkers on the right-hand side of the green require the right choice of club.

The longest shot is not always the best shot at Altenhof. Good course management is helpful. After the round, we recommend the Altenhofer on the terrace of the club restaurant. A very special gin cocktail that you can only get in Altenhof.
