Challenge Tour: CIRCA Cape Town Open 2026

The Royal Cape Golf Club is the oldest golf club in South Africa, having been founded in 1885 by Sir Henry D Oyley Torrens. In 1928, it found its permanent home in the Cape Flats, a 15-minute drive from downtown Cape Town. It was awarded the title “Royal” in 1910 after the Duke of Connaught visited the course. Between 1910 and 1930, it was the country's premier golf destination, but even today, the club lives up to its royal title, as it is steeped in history and tradition.
