Tournament information - Hero Cup 2023 - European Tour
In preparation for the Ryder Cup, the tournament is played as a team competition. Two teams (Great Britain/Ireland & Continental Europe) with ten players each will duel in foursome, fourball and individual matches over three days. All 20 players will play in each session. The teams are led by Tommy Fleetwood and Francesco Molinari as playing captains.
The Hero Cup in the season 2023 is being played in Abu Dhabi, VAE at the Abu Dhabi GC. The tournament starts at the Friday, 13th of January and ends at the Sunday, 15th of January 2023.
The Hero Cup is part of the European Tour in the season 2023. In 2023 all players competing for a total prize money of $2,000,000.
The course for the tournament at Abu Dhabi GC plays at Par 72.
