The WGC - HSBC Champions is the fourth of four World Golf Championship Events in 2019. The field includes 78 players from three different tours. Der Sheshan Golf Club is the first private Club in China and opened in 2004. The golf club was designed by Nelson und Haworth Design.

The World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions in the season 2020 is being played in Shanghai, China at the Sheshan International GC. The tournament starts at the Thursday, 31st of October and ends at the Sunday, 3rd of November 2019.
