Three Society members entered The Open qualifying event last week. The regional Opening qualifying was played over 15 courses throughout the UK. Stuart McLaren was the only one to qualify for the final stage after shooting a 2 under par 69 at Kilmarnock Barassie, with Andrew Fernie (74) also at Kilmarnock Barassie and Eric McIntosh (77) who was playing at Goswick, missing out.
