In 2022, Kayleigh Haggo’s world came crashing down and her Paralympic hopes were all but ended.
Kayleigh held 6 world records in frame running, a big medal haul at Paris 2024 looked achievable. But she was devastated to find out her sport would not be included in the Games.
She wouldn’t let her Paralympic dream die however. She made the switch to boccia and incredibly, after just two years in the sport, was selected for Paris.
