Aschaffenburger Golfclub e.V.

Founded in 1977, the Aschaffenburger Golfclub e.V. is one of the most renowned and traditional golf courses in the region. The AGC impresses not only with its extremely interesting fairways, but also with its wonderful views of the beautiful Vorspessart region. Thanks to its location in the market town of Hösbach, between Rottenberg and Feldkahl, there is a fast and convenient connection to the nearby A3 highway.

The golf course is situated at an altitude of approx. 300 m and comprises a very well-kept and varied 18-hole course (par 71), a 6-hole academy course (par 3, public) and a driving range with practice area. The club can now look back on a 40-year history and feels just as committed to its long-standing tradition as it does to today's requirements of a modern golf club.

Youth work, popular and competitive sport and social interaction characterize the club. The tournament calendar offers a variety of open and club-internal tournaments. The AGC is very ambitious in terms of sport and competes with several teams in the HGV and the DGL. Youth work includes a wide range of activities for children and young people. Last but not least, the ladies', men's and senior golf clubs offer members numerous opportunities to play a round together.

A characteristic feature of the Aschaffenburg Golf Club is the partly hilly terrain with water hazards. You can enjoy the panorama to the full on the first nine holes. You can look out over Aschaffenburg and the surrounding communities and, if the visibility is good, as far as the peaks of the Odenwald. The holes on the first round require skillful course management, are mostly easy to see and less hilly than the second nine holes.

After a short rest in the cozy halfway house, the nine holes on the return round offer completely new perspectives - both visually and in terms of sport. Initially you play through wooded areas, but later the terrain opens up noticeably. A few meters of elevation gain are to be mastered on some holes. However, the view of the nearby Kahlgrund makes up for the short climbs.

The beautiful terrace with its magnificent view invites club guests and players to linger afterwards. The restaurant "der heigenberger" impresses with perfect food in a beautiful ambience. Fresh food and a gastronomy with modern and traditional dishes also invite non-golfers to visit.

Guests are always welcome on the course, there are no starting times and prior registration is not necessary.
