The Posthotel Achenkirch is a golf lover's paradise. Our hotel's own 9-hole golf course of the Posthotel Alpengolf Club is located in a magnificent alpine landscape, in the immediate vicinity of the Karwendel nature reserve and on a sunny high plateau. The stage is set for a successful golf vacation in inspiring surroundings: It's no coincidence that our golf course is one of the 18 most beautiful golf courses in the whole of Austria.

Tee off in style

The beautiful 9-hole course of the Posthotel Alpengolf course is located right next to the hotel on a high plateau, just above the Annakirchl and borders directly on the Karwendel nature reserve. Different tees and the varied design make the course suitable for every golfer. The alpine landscape and panoramic views make the course so unique. Incidentally, it is the only golf course with a summit cross at exactly 1000 m above sea level. The course includes a driving range, putting and chipping greens, pitching area, bunker practice facility and, of course, the clubhouse in the listed Dollenhof (1684). Whether inside in the cozy parlor or outside on the sunny terrace: here you can get back into the swing of things in a stylish atmosphere and with a little refreshment. Advantage for "Posthotel guests": fixed tee times, reduced green fee, extra room for equipment. And the golf carts take you directly from the hotel to Tee 1. Our signature hole nine was awarded the title of "Austrias Best Holes" due to its breathtaking height and slope. Fantastic views included!
